Joey shrugged it off, trying to pretend it wasn’t important. He found it easier that way. “You could say that.” He agreed. He was lying, again. This place wasn’t a haven for him; it was Hell. Everywhere he turned, every new person he met, that could be the person that had killed Zack. Everyone was his enemy. “I’d be delighted to.” He agreed, “I would get to meet some more people that way.”
Why does everyone have to lie about themselves? Anna hated when someone is lying to her. Thanks to that stupid witch she met, she cans sense someone is lying just by feeling their heartbeat. “Good,” she said, taking a sip of her drink. “You’ll meet a lot of people there, especially a friend of mine, she’s quite entertaining.” Annabelle was talking about Cassie, and surely Joey will meet more people there, and by people, Anna means supernatural. “Ok, I can’t take it, why do you seem so tense?” She blurted. “Sorry, you don’t have to answer that.”
